About
There’s no denying it: cell phones are everywhere. They ring during movies and buzz at dinnertime; we rely so heavily on these mobile worlds we carry everywhere that we almost cannot imagine having one without email, internet browsing, text messaging, a calendar, a calculator, various colorful and time-sucking games, and a camera.
In other words, they’re more than telephones.
I carry my Blackberry Bold 9650 with me at all times. I am reachable via email, text message, BBM, or (dare I say it) phone call during every waking hour of the day. It has become an extension of me to the point where those that surround me are no longer alarmed by (or even give notice to) its presence, making it a very useful tool. With it, and the 3.2 MP camera it houses, I am able to capture photos of things, places, people, objects, nouns, that I find interesting. I barely edit them (definitely don’t crop them, possibly up the contrast a tad to make them less drab) and post them up here so that the world can appreciate the candor captured by this unassuming tool. I hope that others will follow suite and use their cell phones to save (and savor) those things in life that they stumble upon and enjoy.
